Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using ClauseCheck, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page.
2. Description of service
ClauseCheck is a free AI-powered contract analysis tool. You paste or upload a contract, and the service highlights risky clauses, provides plain-language explanations, scores the contract across multiple categories, and generates a downloadable PDF report. The service is available via the web at clausecheck.eu.
3. Not legal advice
ClauseCheck is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The analysis provided is generated by artificial intelligence and is intended for informational purposes only. It should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult a qualified lawyer before making decisions based on any contract.
4. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the analysis will be accurate, complete, or error-free. AI-generated analysis may contain mistakes, and the quality of the output depends on the quality of the input.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClauseCheck and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is zero for the free plan).
6. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the contracts you upload or paste into the service. Do not submit contracts that you do not have permission to share. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or to use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
7. Intellectual property
The ClauseCheck name, logo, and website design are the property of ClauseCheck Legal Intelligence. The contracts you submit remain your property. The analysis generated by the service is provided to you for your personal use.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg.
